Mortal Shell beta quickly review
So after a crazy week working and studying for my last exam, I just had some free time to spend in others things apart from sleep and being a zombie in general. And the first thing that demanded my urgent attention was the one-week-open-beta of a game that I was expecting a lot: Mortal Shell.
I fell in love with this indie game since I saw the first trailer and was hoping for a beta key even if it was going to happen at an absurdly bad time for me. Luckily, it seems like hundreds of people were waiting for the same thing, so instead of delivering keys, the developers chose to open the beta for everyone.
What can I say about the game? It’s a souls-like game, so you can expect these kinds of mechanics. This one’s setting is a dark-fantasy world too, so the similarities are there. But at the same time, it has so many unique mechanics that it have its own charisma, including play a lute and pet cats, so why are you not loving it too?? Btw it’s a surprising beautiful game, the art direction is chef kiss.
So I loved each minute playing Mortal Shell and I’ll be buying it when it goes on sale. If you want to try the Beta, it will be open until tomorrow (I think) in the Epic Store, so don’t waste time and run for it. The game will be available from start at PS4 and XBO too, and at Steam later.
