“ jesus fuck ------ ! are you trying to get yourself killed ?! ”
you see he´s never actively looking for trouble WELL, not always actively looking for trouble. WELL . . . let´s move on. the point is, he always runs into it. or maybe it runs into him ? it was a blip on his radar, just a small energy signal - nah not even that. signal´s too strong a word for it. more like a breath - a last exhale before the light fades - he just came to check it out. figures he´d be gunning down the halls of the empty ship like he´s being chased by faulty programmed security bots by the end of it. which he is.
in his defense, he didn´ t even do anything ( yet ) when the alarms started blaring. maybe it was the old age that made the code fall apart, gathering from the dust that´s settled on the consoles it seemed like the last maintenance sequence had been more than a few decades ago. still, that´s no excuse for the “unauthorized access detected, intruders will be eliminated.” shtick. that´s a bit excessive.
besides, intruderS ? by the looks of it, the ship´s been abandoned for centuries - just drifting through space ( and if that isn´t a exciting mystery all in itself ) all on it´s own. lonely. it´s not until he runs through the next best door and locks it behind him with a practiced flick of the sonic when he gets it.
❛ ahhh intruderS ❜ // @mortalvalor ❤ ´d for a starter
