dump of RTC OC drawings i’ll likely never have any other reason to post (also tammy at the end)
(i’m part of a longrunning rtc-based rp campaign with my friends and bf so we’ve made some ungodly amount of characters for it. a bunch of these drawings are at least a year old)
top to bottom, left to right: current sleazy operator of the Wonderville carnival experiencing devastating twink death (grandson to george morten), dead blind toddler with a suspiciously familiar appearance and lore nobody’s ready for, pair of little girls whose fun hello kitty themed birthday party was ruined by a horrific coaster crash, oc x canon cringe comp, local old lady who lives in town and deals weird dolls, and a tightrope walker who fell off her line and died at the carnival decades ago
bonus: my hc for what tammy edwards looks like. i always thought she was based off tammy faye messner
poll time! should i post about my ride the cyclone ocs more frequently?
Yes
No
Yes, but only the student ones
Yes, but only the niche lore/au ones
I’m bald/some other answer
SOME dudes, not gonna name names, fear their own mortality so hard that they create an omniscient fortune telling machine to revive themselves upon their untimely and unnatural death only to fail to realize that the machine has its own free will and has no interest in using its resurrecting abilities on them

George Morten’s lore and my story of how Karnak was made is incomprehensible but this should be a good enough explanation
(blood/spoooooooky imagery TW)
does George Morten have a song like other characters are given? Technically no, but I’ve had loose concepts for one in the past. For this one, he appeared as a ghostly shadow with illuminated glasses for the majority of the song, which was a warning against greed, obsession, and not considering the needs of others, before a spotlight revealed his actual mangled appearance for a split second towards the end. He would later be dragged offstage by roller coaster chains, a la Dr. Facilier. Pardon the bad image quality and weird canvas, this drawing is genuinely 2 years old (2 years and 10 days to be specific) old now.
Insane George Morten trivia:
Part of the inspiration for his character was inspired by w jaunty little Wonderville jingle that was made as a piece of extracanon promo material sometime during the early Canadian runs. I ended up uploading this video to YouTube after years of it only being findable on Facebook and in small Discord groups.
I was really interested in tracking down the person who did the vocals for the jingle, as no singer was ever attributed to it. In my own personal writing, I ended up making it my headcanon that this jingle was a promotional song for the park in-universe, and that the singer was George, the owner of the park. I joked that by extension, once I tracked down the irl singer of this song, the singer would be George’s unofficial “voice actor.”
Now, Shortly after it was uploaded, who would I get a comment from but Brooke Maxwell himself, confirming that it was actually HIS voice!
And that’s the story of how, in a weird roundabout way, Brooke “composed RTC” Maxwell became a voiceclaim for some goofy OC.
At last…….this guy.
Meet George Morten. Self-proclaimed engineer and innovator. Local park owner. Possibly the first man to build and monetize an actually clairvoyant fortune-telling machine, albeit with ulterior motives. Born February 3rd, 1899. Died June 26th, 1958.
Karnak’s creator. Things have not gone as he had planned.
