Addison Maelstrom. Born June 1st. Gemini, the dual nature. “The meanest girl in town.”

I’ve actually had her, like most of my RTC OCs, for a few years now, I just haven’t made most of them public. Addison here started as a stock bully character (one of the girls who bullies Penny in Legoland, in fact) but ended up with more to her than that.

Addison is your classic “mean popular girl.” A “Barbie” as described in Legoland. She’s from a family that’s trying to maintain their illusion of success and wealth in an obviously-dying town. Nobody’s entirely sure why she lashes out at her classmates, but nobody’s exactly willing to risk asking, either. Not even her friends— current or former. In any case, it seems that she’ll do anything to make sure she strikes first before anyone else gets the chance to.

Her father, who once held stakes in the mines, abandoned the family and fled as soon as it became clear there wasn’t any money left to gain in town. He now sends Addison a hefty allowance every month to bribe her into not talking to him. This may or may not have resulted in some unmet emotional needs, but it’s a decent business model, so she’ll take what she can get.

Under the surface, she has some hidden risky habits and personal issues. Then again, in a town like this, doesn’t everyone? Nobody will ever feel a need to intervene.

Often seen asking Penny if anyone has ever told her that her hair is “actually suuuuper pretty, you aren’t thinking of cutting it or something, right?” or skipping the communion wine in favor of trying to ask some elderly priest for some of his painkillers.

Gave Serenity Lawrence (my RTC OC) a redesign! Her titles also been slightly adjusted from 'The Most Misunderstood Girl In Town' to 'The Coldest Girl In Town', since all the kids are misunderstood to an extent.
