🥊🚆 and 💓 for Amelia and Mort 2
Fallout time >:]
🥊 - What is their go-to fighting style (hand-to-hand, short range, long range, etc?)
Amelia prefers to fight at short range with a firearm, but she carries a knife on her person while at work. (Weapons aren’t allowed in the Tops, but there’s no way she’s leaving herself defenceless in an emergency).
Mortimer II does carry a couple of guns on his person, because he has common sense and firearms are the most commonly used tools in conflict in the Mojave, but his go-to fighting style is usually beating someone with his cane. In this case, by ‘go-to’ I mean it’s what happens when he loses some of his composure and acts on impulse.
🚆 - What is their answer to the trolley problem?
In the most basic ‘5 vs 1’ version of the problem, both Amelia and Mortimer would pick to kill the one person (Amelia because it seems more logical to save the higher number of people, and Mortimer because he’s already used to death, what’s one more on his conscience). In the version I’m personally more familiar with (5 strangers vs 1 loved one), both would choose to kill the 5 strangers, because both agree saving a loved one takes priority over anybody else.
💓 - What gets their heart racing?
Amelia:
In general: Going on rides with her horse Becker Jr, even if it’s only a trot around the yard. And the rare occasion that she gets to indulge in her long-dead dream and dance for a little while.
In a romantic sense: When someone is genuinely well-meaning and kind to her. Not just gentlemanly, because any bozo in the wasteland can pull that act, but in a way that gives off the impression the person doesn’t have anything but good will in their heart.
Mortimer II:
In general: Finding a corpse or location worth picking clean out in the desert. Mortimer II sees himself as higher up the social food chain than he actually is, so being treated like a bigwig also does the job of making his heart race, as does managing to sway people with either his power or presence.
In a romantic sense: Others making the first move, and making it clear that they want him. He doesn’t mind if someone’s more shy, but seeing that someone finds him desirable means a lot to him.
