Здания сделанные в круг редкость даже для Москвы. Их всего 4 шт построили ещё при СССР. Конструкция здания состоит из 22 идентичных прямых секций, а кольцевидная форма была достигнута благодаря установке панелей под углом, не превышающим 6° — максимального отклонения, допустимого по строительным нормам, для усиления в некоторых местах сделали монолитные вставки. Диаметр круга составляет 155 м. Дом вмещает 913 квартир в 26 подъездах. Построены дома были в 1970 годах. Спустя несколько лет эксплуатации стали очевидны недостатки подобной формы: внутри двора постоянно дул сильный ветер, была очень высокая слышимость, значительная часть квартир не получала необходимой по нормам инсоляции. В квартирах из-за трапециевидной формы комнат трудно делать ремонт, а у жильцов и гостей часто возникали проблемы с поиском нужного подъезда. В результате после окончания строительства домов, эксперимент был свёрнут и в серию здания не вошли. PS Наверное неплохой такой форт можно было бы сделать, в случае зомби апокалипсиса.
