I didn’t know if I should be the one to do this… but I don’t think her account here is available to the person dealing with her last wishes/will, and they have a lot going on right now. I also don’t know how many of you who follow me know who @mosellegreen is, but I thought friends should know that she died a few weeks ago.

I won’t go into details as she expressly told me that she didn’t want to announce anything before, but I didn’t want her to just go missing and have her friends here not know what happened. If you knew her and want to talk, I’m here. I’m personally having a really rough time dealing with this as we had become really good friends, but please don’t hesitate to reach out. It’s hard for anyone to lose someone, and grief is grief.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR URL? 

In my teens, before I even knew that fandom existed, I was a fangirl, and one of the things I was a fangirl of was A Game of Thrones. The book. Before there were any sequels. And “linaerys” was my self-insert, Mary Sue name for the fantasies I composed in my head. Linaerys was an expert swordswoman who disguised herself as a boy and joined Night’s Watch. She also had a direwolf and got to make out with Jon Snow and had some magical powers against the Others. So when I got my first email address, that’s what I picked, and it’s been my name online ever since.

WHAT’S YOUR MIDDLE NAME?

My grandmother, who just passed away, was a writer, a traveler, and an activist, and my middle name is her first name.

IF YOU COULD OWN A FAIRY TALE / FICTIONAL PET, WHAT WOULD IT BE? 

A fox. Or possibly a giant marmalade cat like Lyan in The Chronicles of Prydain.

FAVORITE COLOR? 

Probably blue, but I also love red and purple.

FAVORITE SONG?

Who has one favorite song? Right now I am loving Allison Krauss, Florence and the Machine, any number of Scandinavian metal groups. 

TOP THREE FANDOMS: 

My three most recent fandoms are Jupiter Ascending, Hockey, and The Eagle. The fandoms that have probably been the most important to me are...The Eagle, Heroes, SGA, and Hornblower. Oh, who knows, every fandom has left its mark.

My fault. All of it. How dare I make gifs of character I love? I should know that there are nasty, gross people around who will take those gifs and shit on them. It's so clear that I should therefore take the responsibility and not make the gifs, lest I be made angry and upset.
