Moss
Does anyone know about the best moss lawns to grow in relatively sunny areas with local cats and animals nearby? (Don't want it to be toxic to them.)
We want to replace our turf lawn with moss, but don't know exactly how to go about it. I looked into it a bit and researched it, but a second opinion is always nice.
Preference for green/white/blueish moss if at all possible, but it's not a deal breaker if it's something else.

I got really high and had the most intense conversation about grass. I always notice how in poorly maintained areas the “weeds” and dandelions that do grow back loon really patchy and oddly unprotected. Like theres no low level grasses that spread over the ground more evenly or taller grasses that seem sturdy enough to protect certain grasses or weeds! I feel like some ares look more barren than they could be because of the loss of biodiversity. I’ve followed blogs and pages that were anti lawn and had a lot more cool shit and i feel like im being bummed out of some really cool grasses that colonizers fucked up. Like either we made certain grasses extinct or the seeds have just been made dormant by our current treatment of the land and its so sad we could’ve had some Cool Fucking Grass
