ever since I started learning japanese I've been thinking on why it seems easier to rhyme in japanese than in english and its finally occurred to me that in japanese, since the verb is at the end of the sentence, common verb endings means you can rhyme complicated sentences way easier. like in english:
she ate food requires you to rhyme something with food. but in japanese the order goes:
she food ate. which means that all you have to rhyme is the verb!
and since in japanese verbs end in mostly the same sound, with the ending being changed depending on things like tense and formality, you can rhyme so many more words :O ive been thinking about this idly for years but this is probably a major reason why woag. i love languages
