#Repost @themosbrand ・・・ I was going to save this #MOSSense for another day, but I had two good convos and it couldn’t wait. And though my brand is for men, ladies can take away from this one. “Don’t put a question mark where God put a period.” Psalm 119:130 says “The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.” Often times, we, including myself, question what if things were different. What if we were still together? What if I made this much money? What if I had this or that? What if, What if, What if. What I’ve come to leave with is whether it comes to people or situations, what is meant for you will be. You won’t have to doubt it. If they aren’t with you, they aren’t meant to be with you. If a situation doesn’t pan out in your favor, it isn’t meant to. God is a God of growth. That person you wanted may come back, that missed opportunity may become better later, but you weren’t meant to have it then. What’s yours is yours when it’s yours and you don’t have to question it. God uses situations to build and shape us in order to get to in line with our greater purpose, which is in accordance with his will. We all have desires and wants, and we all want it when we want it. We may question if we change or they change, will that relationship work out, if we work harder, will we get that position, etc. As true as that may be, there is a reason things don’t work. It may be an easily conceived reason, such as you/they were a jerk, you didn’t put forth effort, etc. But often times, there is a deeper, spiritual reason. God used that situation to change you, God has something better in store, that thing you wanted so bad was meant to harm you. When something doesn’t work out, appreciate the lesson and growth in it and accept it. Love yourself enough to not imprison yourself in a nonexistent alternate reality.
