what is your favorite episode of Sherlock and why? Is it because of a particular moment? If your favorite moment isn't in your favorite episode, what is it?

My favorite episode is definitely The Empty Hearse. I love all of the emotions of Sherlock's return, and I especially love all of the Sherlolly moments. I call it Sherlolly the Movie for a reason lol!

The particular moment I really love is when they're in the stairwell, and they're talking, and Sherlock is just so happy for her, but it also looks like his heart is breaking. The wistfullness of that scene is so damn good.

AND THEN THAT SOFT SMILE HE GIVES HER AND KISSES HER CHEEK, BUT SO CLOSE TO HER MOUTH I JUST 😭😍🥹🥺

But aside from that, their little jokes, and the flirty nature of their interactions just give me life! ALSO THAT KISS HOLY SHIT 🔥

I mean, yeah, it's so bittersweet, but the potential of what their relationship could be was there, and I just thought it was nice to see that. Kinda like the scene in The Six Thatchers at the christening, their little interaction was like #married.

What is your favorite Tolkien dwarf other than Thorin? Does the answer change from book to movies?

Ooh, now this is a tricky one. I’ll probably go with the films because (and don’t shout at me for this) I felt we got more personality and backstory put into them. Every Dwarf in The Hobbit films had their own personality and even looks.

But my favourite Dwarf after Thorin is probably Balin. I love the father figure and advisor part of him. He’s always giving supportive words and offering help to Bilbo when he’s doubting himself. I love that about Balin. He’s a comforter, supporter and encourager.

Lizzy sighed as the trees trickled past, the horses going a-pace towards Netherfield. Opposite her, Lydia and Kitty were fighting to peek outside of the carriage to witness the great house hove into view; Mary had her nose steadfastedly planted into a book, only occasionally looking to their father; Jane preoccupied herself by smoothing her gloves against her lap, which to anyone, would seem a sign of self-assurance and not (as Lizzy knew it truly to be), a sign of self-comfort.

"Mama shall be most perturbed she was unable to attend," Lizzy murmured, sliding her piercing gaze towards her father, who was hidden behind a copy of that day's newspaper, "and I doubt her nerves shall tolerate it!"

"That, my dear," intoned Mr Bennet, failing immeasurably to hide his amusement, "is entirely the point."

Give me a pairing, an AU setting, and I’ll write you a three-sentence fic!

What are your top 5 Armitage characters in rank order (though I bet I can guess number one)?

Well, of course you can guess number 1. Hahahaha! That goes without saying, my love.

1) Thorin Oakenshield

2) John Porter (people may be surprised at this one. I do love his character so much, despite not writing much about him)

3) Raymond de Merville (phwoar!!)

4) Lucas North (I was tied between him and Raymond. Such a hard decision of who to put above who)

5) Guy of Gisborne

How about yours? Everyone else? I’m curious as to what your thoughts are. Was this surprising to anyone? Obviously it’d be surprising after number 1. 😁😁🤣🤣🤣

Any Christmas/winter traditions that you loved, or would love to, figure out how to put in a fic?

Ooooo! Good question! The main fics I’d really have issues with putting Christmas traditions into is Middle-earth, Pilgrimage (Raymond) and Robin Hood (Guy). The fact I write a lot of modern reader inserts does help with that. 🤣

Some of my favourite traditions as a kid were carol singing and stockings. Maybe a reader could teach Guy and Raymond some carols from the future. And if you tried to teach Thorin, he’d have absolutely no idea what they’re about. So you’d have to give him all the background details.

Leaving stockings for Guy and Raymond would be fun. Just have to make sure the socks are clean! 🤣🤣🤣 And then wake them up by smacking their legs with these filled socks.

It’d be so fun making stockings in Erebor, and teaching the children. I know if I was in Middle-earth, I’d love teaching the children craft tips.

I can imagine the modern characters, like Lucas North, John Porter and John Thornton (hey! He’s still more modern than Guy and Raymond) really loving your enthusiasm with traditions. Lucas would probably love it the most as he’s not had much of a Christmas in many years…and my mind is now starting to think about that. *fic alert!* John Thornton would watch you so lovingly from across the room as you fill stockings and hum carols.
