Hello, I was scrolling through your art blog (again) and saw your OC zyric (I think thats how it's spelt), and he looks fucking cool !!!!
I think I may have asked about him before idk, and you may have answered this before but for some reason several of the things you've tagged me in didn't tell me you did that so I'm asking again feel free to ignore if you want
Could I please hear more about him?? He looks cool.??? Please?? I need lore, I eat that shit for breakfast!

I don't have as much info on him as some of my other ocs since he's newer and @shannonaesthetics and I haven't had the time to rp with him and his later bf Theo, butttt i can tell you what I do have so far!
Putting it quickly and simply Zyric is a sociopath, and his character trope is "i don't care." he doesnt care what others think about him, what their opinions are or what they say about him, so he really just does his own thing and doesn't care about conciquences. However, because he doesn't care it also means he doesn't really care about people either, or his relationships with others.
Because of this, Zyric often has one night stands with people who ask him too because he doesn't care about them/doesn't feel anything towards it or them AND he does what he wants to. He also usually gets in trouble with teachers at the Academy because he blatantly disregards the rules. At this point, though, the teachers have given up on punishing him since he just keeps doing things regardless of what they say.
However, he isn't loud about it, he isnt like a rebellious/punk kid. Zyric is actually very quiet and calm, not a lot gets on his nerves and he doesnt have much of an emotional response to anything. This is where the sociopathic tendencies tie in. He's not insane; he just lacks a sense of empathy and emotion. He also disregards social norms and misses social cues. He can feel emotions, but they're very shallow/surface level.
The reason for all this is because as a child, he was trafficked. He was stolen from his home, stuffed into a cargo hold on a plane(or boat i cant remember) and transported somewhere else entirely, where he learned that the way to survive was to keep quiet, and learn to not care. In the end, he ended up getting killed by them but thats the whole premise of this story. Every character at this Academy has died and come back as some sort of monster/cryptid.
NOWW for some basic info about him :] Zyric is a naga based on an African bush viper. He is African American with a clothing/aesthetic style of a mix of grunge/homeless guy/baggy clothing (showing again he doesn't really care) oH and later in the story hes gonna end up with this gorgon named Theo (we have a love hate relationship with Theo.. but thats another story) and Zyric is gonna make Theo realize he isn't exactly straight and he HATESS that XD they're not exactly a very healthy ship, but they work
ANYWAYYY thats as much as I can yap about Zyric :] hes def one of my favorite blorbos and I esp loved just coming up with his personality and analyzing him. He's really unique in that way since most of my ocs aren't really THIS in depth with behavoirs/personality.
