also true! as a witch, you really have no civic duty to act a certain way, that's why there are so many different flavors of witchcraft.

I identify as a witch and was wondering if you see that as a negative thing? I ask because of how against being called a witch you seem to be by that last reblog (although completely understandable to not want to be labeled as something you are not) thanks for taking my question into consideration ❤️
nah, no particular problems with it.
I simply don't enjoy the idea that people currently involved in magic have been shoehorned into a single title, whether they want to or not. I don't get especially mad when people call us witches on the blog since it's in our title, but we are definitely not that.
but I find that a lot of people seem to believe it's witch or nothing, and that definitely can grind on my gears a little. no problem with people who identify as witches, just people who believe witch is the only label for magical people.
