(based off the idea that while ofc he was struggling when he was younger, he had a period of time to act as most of a kid as he could— which wasn’t much, especially compared to an average childhood— before the full weight of going from having nothing to lose to having everything to lose— everything to protect —in what seemed to be an instant. A second chance, a new life, new potential, a purpose, a home, dreams, friends, a family— his brother. Everything.)
