out of no where got cramps so bad I almost puked and started to cry a bit

out of no where got cramps so bad I almost puked and started to cry a bit
Got home yesterday and I can finally relax. Well, as much as one can at this point anyways. I guess I'll let myself fill anyone who wants to know it.
Alrighty... So I've had to tell and listen to this story like 20 different times over the last week, but I'll mostly keep it short. My dad had to have neck surgery this week due to his bone putting pressure on his spinal cord, slowly cutting off his nerves and becoming paralyzed from the neck downwards. As you can imagine, it was scary as shit.
We took him down to Tampa General on Tuesday, and I've been basically driving back and forth from my house everyday (it's about a 2-hour drive one way). Thankfully, his surgery yesterday was a success. He's now recovering and we hope to bring him home either tomorrow or Monday.
I had thought about posting my thoughts and feelings all throughout the process, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. The only reason I am now is because I want to hoot and holler that my dad's okay. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get caught up with my homework that's due tomorrow.
