Thinking a lot about the opening scene in mota at the pub. We’ve been talking about narration in school and how the there’s almost always a problem introduced in the beginning of the film/show.
I don’t really have time to rant and go in to detail right now, but it makes me think about what problem is actually being introduced in the first scene of mota. Yeah sure, we’ve got the war, friendship and Marge/Gale. BUT, one might just as well interpret the main problem as the yearning/complicated love between John and Gale.
This needs investigating surely but at first glance, you can probably interpret the series as actually addressing this (like not just in a fan way). Someone has probably talked about this already but yeah we love them boys so we can talk about this again😌
