Azalea Sphinx (Darapsa choerilus)

Silk-moths and sphinxes take up a lot of room on the moth screen (and have a tendency to fly into everything else we’re trying to photograph), so we typically move them to a branch near the light to make sure they’re safely out of the way.

...so within two hours we had eight or nine sphinxes on this one branch.
