So am I the only one who reads some pretty creepy implications in the first book when eleven year old Kel is being regularly beaten by a group of older boys and Lord Wyldon doesn't do a thing about it?

I guess it depends on your definition of creepy. I never read it as creepy, but my brain interprets creepy as sexually perverted. I definitely read it as fucked up, but do we really see Wyldon doing anything about the older boys beating up on the younger boys? He just kind of ignores the bullying problem all together and punishes everyone when they get caught.

What do you guys think?

haha I don't have one either! I just have a friend who has one, and I offered to buy the game for it in exchange for me borrowing it for a couple weeks and getting to play it!

So go out and find or make a friend who has a 3ds, then aggressively talk them into letting you borrow it.

Sailor moon? The entire manga’s been rerelased recently (the translation isn’t great, but whaddyagonnado.) Sadly, the subbed episodes STILL aren’t available by legal means. I saw a few American episodes and then some of the Japanese ones but the mangareally drew me in. Our local library only has about five issues and it's hard to find, but damn if sailor moon isn't my favorite manga/anime of all time.

it's my fave animanga too, tied with Utena and the FMA Manga/FMAB! <3 narratives of my soul.
