Spoiled Eggburt
As a jam entry, it’s a short game, but the setup is interesting enough to merit posting here. You’re playing a guy in a horror movie(?) on VHS. Two people are watching the movie and talking about it; their commentary (stuff like “it doesn’t get interesting until he uses the music player”) indicates what you should do next. They’ll also comment on what you just did (”What an idiot!”) if you die and they have to rewind. It’s rad as hell!
Also, as always, VHS and eye-searing aliased art aesthetics are the best.
