How does it compare to a French Press? I loveeee my French Press to death and I’m hesitant to get a pourover because of it
French Press' are great! That's what I was using before I got the Chemex and I have to say that the Press is a lot simpler to use. The Chemex seems to have a technique to it; so while it's not hard to use, it's definitely not as quick and convenient as the Press. BUT the coffee I brewed with the Chemex tasted so much smoother than any coffee I've made before. It's a cool investment and worth checking out if you're passionate about making coffee! :)
