In better news! One of my long-term clients is coming down from Conneticut and visiting me at the Mountain Craft & Music Gathering to pick up a batch of pelts I tanned for him. Saves me on shipping, and I always enjoy talking to the man.
I think this is about the third time he's made the trip from CT to WV to get pelts from me, must be doing something right!
I've got most of my material ready for the class, which includes all my misc. tools, somewhere around a half dozen pelts for examples (and more to sell), salted rabbit hides to give away at the end of class, and a tent to sleep in for the three days.
Dug up this old book from school days. Superbly simple, superbly informative. A classic of it maligned genre. Bring back print. And watch this space!
