We should be a cog railway up mount Everest we should Nepal a bunch of money to build the biggest cog railway in the world because it would be good for their economy and it would mean fewer guides die trying to help stupid rich people summit the mountain

Anyway it would be a considered a marvel of engineering but it's also not that impractical cause it's just a really long cog railway with pressurized cars and it would mean that Nepal would have more of economy besides just rich people they could also have more jobs created by people working on the railway and like some people would probably come just to see the railway

All the above are photos from my time in Switzerland this week, and wow what a first for travelling beyond the UK (the Channel isles I won't be counting).

Not only is it admirable how impeccably cleaned the streets are, but the mountains around Grindelwald are stunning from all angles, the typical architecture of the houses of all sizes, as well as the church in the last picture is so charming, and I respect how they really do love their flowers.

And of course, the engines that took me and my family to Laterbrunnen, Kleine Scheidegg, Wengen and Schynige Platte have such lovely liveries.

I often complain about the place I come from - damp fields, damaged asphalt, muddy roads, lifeless trees. But when the sun comes up, perhaps it is not so bad after all.
