I have this one but of gossip that has been driving me INSANE. I found out that my ex-best friend (super toxic 13 year friendship - didn't end well) had chlamydia, and she wasn't sure who she got it from bc she was sleeping with 2 guys at the time. However, she didn't talk to either of them about it, despite the fact that she likely gave it to the other, bc she didn't want them to find out about eachother. Tbh I would've been justified in spreading it after all she put me through but I couldn't.
Ooooo is it Mike Ross? He reminds me so much of Barry
Yes Mike Ross. he is so adorable. So glad he's not an investment banker anymore.

That Prince Derek had managed to piss someone off that badly didn't surprise her in the least. Casey herself had been tempted to turn to witchcraft just so she could hex him more than once. What surprised her is that they got the chance.
Begrudgingly she could admit that he could handle himself. He maybe wasn't the biggest, most muscle bound man in the land, but he was fast and clever.
Casey heaved a heavy sigh, looking longingly at Queen Nora's throne. Why did they have to choose now to go on a diplomatic voyage? "For your own sake I hope that isn't the extent of your masterful evil plan?"
Vicki laughed scornfully. "You don't get it, do you? The valiant Prince may as well be dead."
"You said he's just asleep. And honestly, if all it takes is a kiss to wake him up, I can have every unmarried man and woman for six Kingdoms here by Friday. It'll be tedious, but if you expect me to have any sympathy for the cold-sores he'll undoubtedly get, then you obviously know nothing about me," Casey fidgeted in her chair, hoping it wasn't noticeable how hard she was bluffing, how nervous she was. Derek may not have been her favourite person, but she didn't want him dead. Or comatose.
"I'm sure you're right. However, there are a few rules that you must abide by to break the curse," Vicki finally got to her grand plan reveal. Casey forced herself not to roll her eyes. "The kiss must be one of true love. Unconditional and knowing of his every weakness. No random fanatic maiden is going to work."
Casey sat up straighter. That could be a problem, but she still had options. Lady Kendra, Dame Sally, Physician Emily. Any of them might work. Hell, maybe even Sir Sam or Sir Ralph. "Go on."
"Second, they have to get to him first," Vicki grinned maliciously. "Not easy. As we speak a barrier of deadly sharp thorns is growing to encircle him and one of my dearest companions is arriving to guard him."
Casey tensed, already trying to plan the way clear. "Is that all?"
Vicki pulled a mock-sympathetic face. "I know, I may have gone a little overkill on that. But don't worry, if you get his true love to him in time then he'll wake up from a nice long sleep and be back to his old self."
Casey almost dismissed her (as much as you could dismiss and evil fairy who got in without permission and could certainly stay or leave just as easily), but something made her hesitate. "In time?
"Oh! Did I forget to mention that part?" Vicki said, voice and grin implying that she very much hadn't forgotten. She was just being over dramatic. "If left untreated, his sleep could become infectious. It'll creep slowly across the land, casting all who fall under its shadow into the same deep slumber. Better hurry up, that many people falling asleep at once? Could be disastrous for the economy." The fairy winked and left, a tiny ball of light darting out through the doors.
Casey stood, ready to call for her messengers. She had to send for all of Derek's friends immediately.
Messengers sent, she walked purposefully to the Knight's training area. They were going to need axes.
By the time she had everyone assembled and ready at the tower Derek was held captive in, the effects of the curse had already begun to spread. The servants in the grounds had dropped where they stood, and even having just arrived, Casey was beginning to feel sleepy.
The wall of thorns was impressive, towering well above their heads and thick enough that she couldn't see through to the other side. She shook out her hands and raised her sword. It would blunt the blade but there was no way she trusted herself with an axe like she did the blade she'd carried for years. "Let's do this."
Sam nodded to her left and stepped forwards to make the first cut.
They hacked their way through, thorns tearing at them at every step, only their combined purpose forcing them onwards as the thorns grew back around them. Alone, none would have made it.
The first step out in the open was stinging with fresh air on cuts and strained breath burning in their lungs, but filled with relief and hope. They had made it this far.
It was only once they'd caught their breath that they realized Kendra and Ralph had not come through after them.
"We keep going," Casey ordered, before anyone had a chance to argue. "We'll get them on the way back through." She turned her back on the thorns, praying that her friends would forgive her for her abandonment.
They crept forwards, sleep dragging heavily at their limbs.
"Casey," Sam caught her attention. "What the hell is that?"
Casey frowned and followed his pointing finger. She breathed in sharply. "That would be Vicki's companion."
"There's more than one," Emily pointed out.
Sam and Sally grabbed and raised their bows simultaneously.
The dark shapes in the sky grew closer. One impossibly large, the others smaller but still too big for comfort. The largest landed in front of them, the smaller hoard circling above.
"Is that a-" Sally cut herself off. They all knew what it was.
"Dragon," Casey finished for her anyway. She swallowed.
The dragon made no move, watching them steadily.
Casey breathed in and took a step. The dragon raised its head in warning.
"Casey, we probably shouldn't move right now," Emily breathed, voice shaking a little.
"Derek's in there. And the longer we stand here, the more likely we are to fall asleep." Casey took another step, determinedly ignoring the way the dragon shifted menacingly at her every move.
A smaller dragon flew to close for comfort and Sam released an arrow.
The large dragon roared, though the arrow flew uselessly past the fast-darting target.
"Hold your fire!" Casey shouted suddenly.
Sam looked at her questioningly but reluctantly obliged.
"Nobody so much as give a mean look to them," Casey warned urgently. Sword lowered but at the ready, she stalked closer to the tower.
The large dragon roared again, a little less fiercely.
"Casey," Sam said, gesturing to the smaller dragons circling slowly closer.
Casey shook her head. She turned back to the dragon before her. "If you let me save my family, I won't hurt yours," She told it, voice soft but firm.
The dragon snarled.
She pressed on, closer with every step. The others followed at a slight distance.
The dragon moved to intercept.
Unable to reach the door the party faltered.
Sally clapped Sam on the shoulder and jogged backwards. "You may want to run," She said, raising her bow and shooting into the sky.
The dragon roared and turned, lunging for Sally.
Sally evaded just barely and turned back to the others. "Go!"
Casey nodded and charged on. They slammed the door closed behind them, trying to ignore the noises from outside.
A staircase rose steeply upwards, the only direction to take.
Casey led the way up, Sam taking the rear and Emily protected between them. The stairs were many and crumbled in places, taking full concentration to navigate.
Upwards she climbed, feeling her goal within reach. Weariness made her stumble but she pushed through it, one step at a time, one labored breath in and out.
She reached the top, relief and exhaustion making her limbs weak and trembling. "We made it." She breathed.
Emily hummed in agreement.
Casey's hand was on the latch to the door behind which she was sure Derek lay when Emily asked, "Where's Sam?"
Casey's stomach churned a little. "It doesn't matter, we've got to finish this. Come on." She pressed the latch and stepped inside, halting just long enough to look around for threats or traps before rushing to Derek's still form on the other side of the room.
A loud bang resounded around the space.
"Casey!" Emily's voice came muffled through the now closed door, dull thuds as she tried to open it fading to a sliding sound as her form fell unconscious against the door.
"Emily!" Casey rushed back, pulling on the door, forcing it open to see her friend crumpled on the ground. "No!" She wailed. All this way and there was no one left to finish this, no one here to break the curse. She could feel her eyes trying to close and draw her down to sleep beside Emily.
"Casey," Vicki's voice came, dripping false pleasantry and surprise. "You made it! Well done."
Casey stifled a sob. This was it. They'd lost.
"To bad the others didn't," Vicki sighed, "I guess your brother, and you and the entire Kingdom, will just have to sleep it off. Don't worry though, a hundred years and you'll wake up fresh as a daisy!" Vicki paused as if in thought, "You know, unless something kills you in your sleep or something."
Casey crawled her way to Derek's side, fighting to stay awake just a little longer. A few moments and maybe she could think of some solution. Maybe Sam would come through the door or Sally would stumble in. Her eyes traced Derek's sleeping features hopelessly.
"Aww, you gonna have a nice sleepy cuddle?" Vicki mocked. "That's adorable!"
Casey's gaze fell on Derek's lips.
Vicki continued oblivious. "I wonder what Derek will say a hundred years from now when he wakes up and sees just how close you got to saving him."
Casey's eyes flickered up defiantly.
"I know, it's sad really," Vicki rambled victoriously. "You could have opted to send the others and stayed to warn your people, but instead you doomed them. They won't know until it's too late. Now you'll all slip away into dreamland for the next century, just like your dear brother."
Casey forced herself to move. "Step-brother."
Vicki looked puzzled. "What?"
Casey smiled grimly and looked back at the boy in question. She stroked his hair from his face. "We're not related." She said, her voice swelling with wonder and hope.
Vicki's eyes widened.
Casey pressed her lips to Derek's.
Almost instantly, the oppressive tiredness left her body. She felt a little dizzy with the rush of it.
She smiled triumphantly at Vicki who screeched in anger, raising her pointed finger and opening her mouth to place another curse.
A hand clamped down over the fairy's lips and her arm was forced down by another. "I think it's your turn for a nap," Emily said, one hand moving to take something from her belt. Vicki struggled, trying to get free, mindless in her panic and too off guard to think of shifting into that tiny ball of light that would grant her freedom. She screeched again and Emily took the opportunity to pour something down her throat.
Derek's eyes flickered open around the same time Emily lowered Vicki to the floor. "Where the hell am I?"
Casey laughed. His face was the picture of sleepy confusion.
He caught sight of Vicki and struggled upright. "Is she-?"
"Unconscious," Emily supplied. "Curses aren't the only way to make people sleep." She held up her hand, revealing the empty vial. "I always carry my medical kit."
Together they descended, finding Sam pulling himself to his feet halfway down the stairs. They paused in readiness before opening the tower door.
Sam peeked carefully around it, then flung in open. "Really?"
Casey followed him out.
"All that and she didn't think to protect her dragons from the curse?" Sam muttered, walking over to check on Sally's unconscious form, Emily in tow.
"Dragons?" Derek said incredulously. "I missed the dragons? That's so not fair!"
Casey crossed her arms. "Dangerous dragons that Sally almost got eaten by trying to rescue you, you idiot."
"Hey!" Derek protested.
As Sally came to, they heard shouts and the sounds of axes.
Turning to look, they saw Kendra and Ralph burst through the wall of thorns, some of the knights behind them, still hacking at the thorns to keep them at bay.
Casey greeted them both with hugs. "What happened?"
"We got turned around, found ourselves on the wrong side of the thorns," Kendra explained, "So we went back for reinforcements. They're holding a tunnel open."
Casey sagged in relief. She had not been looking forward to hacking their way back through.
"So everyone gets to be a hero and I get to be the damsel in distress?" Derek asked, horrified.
Casey grinned. "Yep."
"No, no, no. I don't do damsel. His highness Prince Derek is never distressed." He argued.
"We can send you back up into the tower with Vicki and wake up the dragons if you want," Casey suggested, "Let you rescue yourself."
Derek's eyes widened. "Thanks, but I think I'll pass."
"That's what I thought," Casey turned to go.
"At least I don't have to be carried off by some knight in shining armor." Derek comforted himself. "How did you guys break the curse, anyway? It wasn't by knocking Vicki out was it? 'Cause it'd be pretty stupid to cast a curse you can only maintain when you're awake."
Casey cringed. "Yeah, about that..."
His eyes widened again, "Oh my god, it wasn't one of those curses broken by kissing was it?"
Casey's face must have confirmed it.
Derek groaned. "Go ahead. Tell me. Who kissed me? Please say it was Emily and not Sam."
"Neither actually," Casey cleared her throat uncomfortably.
Derek frowned. "Well, who was it then?"
"Lets just say you shouldn't put much stock in it when a fairy tells you only true love can break a curse." Casey snorted, then winced as Derek's jaw dropped in realization.
"It was you!" Derek accused.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Casey walked quickly away, but he caught up with her.
"It was, wasn't it!" Derek looked smug. "That means you love me."
"Does not! It means our whole Kingdom was being cursed and I got desperate!" Casey spluttered.
"Wouldn't have worked it you didn't." Derek insisted, suddenly a lot more chipper than he had been after his 'damsel' epiphany. "Admit it, you're no more immune to my charm than anyone else."
"Your vanity and ego are truly astounding," Casey deadpanned.
"Oh, come on! Don't feel bad," Derek teased, "I am pretty much irresistible, it's little wonder that you fell for me when you have to spend all that time around me."
"Der-ek!" Casey snapped, "You are not my one true love! I'm fairly sure one true loves are meant to actually like each other."
Derek clutched his chest dramatically. "You wound me! Why won't you just admit your epic love for me?"
"Cut it out!" Casey shoved him. "Besides, if you were my true love, that would mean I was yours. So go ahead, why don't you announce your epic love for me."
"Would it be so bad?" Derek asked, nonchalant tone too forced to be genuine.
Casey froze. "What?"
"If we were each other's..." He trailed off. "Would living happily ever after with me really be that terrible?"
Casey leveled him with a look. "That would be one incredibly short happily ever after. We'd kill each other within a month."
"We already live together," Derek pointed out, "And it's not like George and Nora could complain, they'd still have three kids to marry off for political reasons. I mean, nothing would really change that much. We'd just be..."
"Are you trying to talk me into this?" Casey asked, confused.
Derek shrugged. "I'm just saying, there are worse things."
Casey frowned. "Like what? I thought you hated me."
"Hate may be just a teensy bit of an exaggeration," Derek admitted.
Casey tried and failed to get it all to make some semblance of sense in her head. "Derek, you're basically saying you want me to marry you."
Derek smirked. "Well, you are my knight in shining armor."
Casey was speechless.
His face softened. "Think about it?"
She thought about it. She thought about kissing Derek on the lips in the tower and the moment that she had realized she could do it. The wonder and hope and the softness of his lips. She thought about kissing him again, this time with him responsive, and the idea had definite appeal. "How long have you...?"
Derek licked his lips. "Awhile. Always, but awhile."
She leaned towards him thoughtfully, testing. She could smell his skin and hair, still slightly sleep warm, and she could feel his breath. She closed the distance and kissed him.
He responded quickly, as if afraid she'd change her mind. It was a good kiss. A very good kiss.
She pulled away and met his eyes. "Ask me again in a year."

mollypondcreature's Questions:
1. What’s under your bed?
Dust and dirty clothes that I've likely forgotten exist.
2. Who do you trust to break you out of jail should the need arise?
My sister.
3. What names would you give your children (or pets or characters you make up or whatever)
Alec, Lily, Luke, Cassandra (though I don't plan on having that many)
4. When was the last time you cried, and why?
It's a little stupid, but when my laptop broke a couple of weeks ago. My laptop is my connection to my OU course, my connection to fandom, my TV, my ability to write. It's my escape and my future and I can't afford to replace it. Luckily it was cheap to fix.
5. Is there a song that reminds you of a specific person or event?
Tomorrow by The Cranberries reminds me of my Mum when she's trying to get me to stop being so pessimistic.
6. When did you join Tumblr, and why?
About a year ago after stumbling onto a fanfiction site and seeing people mention it. I joined because there are so many people with similar interests to me and I don't know many of those in real life.
7. If you were Cupid, which two people would you pair up?
Fictional or real? Fictional then Dean and Castiel, my ultimate OTP. Real... I don't have a whole lot of single friends, so have to be celebrities. Probably Bradley James and Colin Morgan because they are the one real person ship I can't stop myself shipping.
8. What’s the weirdest dream you remember?
I was Cinderella but for some reason I was more concerned with this particular cake I wanted to eat than with the Prince. I kept finding ways to get rid of him so that I could go after the cake.
9. Who (must be deceased) would you like to be haunted by?
Oscar Wilde. He'd whisper witty things in my ears for me to repeat when I wanted to impress people. He'd also be less likely to judge me for my crap than most other ghosts I could pick.
10. Do you have a religion?
Not really, though I do believe in God in an abstract kind of way. I find religions too stifling and contradictory for me personally. To me the meaning behind all religion seems to be 'hey don't be a dick' so I follow my morals rather than those in a book. Some of the most influential and nicest people I've known were Christian or Wiccan and I wouldn't change a thing about any of those people.
11. What is the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever done?
GISHWHES. Everything I did during GISHWHES. Without the influence of the Overlord probably... Wearing a paper mustache around town, or walking around everywhere playing air guitar on an inflatable guitar, or writing cheese and potato smut, or getting fake married in a field complete with rings, ceremony and reception, or... I don't know really, I've done a lot of strange things. I blame the home-education.
My Questions:
1. Do you believe in any kind of magic? (Religious miracles, fortune telling/prophesying, telekinesis etc.)
2. If you could learn the language of one animal, what would you pick?
3. What human language would you like to learn?
4. What fictional world would you want to live in?
5. Pessimist, optimist or realist?
6. If you could add an 11th commandment and the whole world had to obey, what would it be?
7. Weirdest game you made up when you were little?
8. What conspiracy theory do you most believe to be true? (eg. Illuminati, Roswell, 9/11)
9. Which element would you most like to control?
10. You have one chance to fulfil your biggest dream (whether that's to be famous or go to Hogwarts or anything else) but it means leaving everyone and everything behind, possibly forever. Would you take it?
11. If you and your best friend had to save the world, what would you be best equipped to save it from?
