Just a little doodle of my main man, Mountainfrost, and his first apprentice, Runningpaw (Runningflight) (he/him)

I do really love thinking about mentor-apprentice relationships and am kinda sad that they don’t often get a lot of focus in the books. Like,, a cats mentor was an integral part of their life and their development growing up!! Let that show in their relationship!!!

Mountainfrost, he/him, deputy of SnowClan

Mountainfrost is a half-clan cat, with a loner father. His mother ran away from SnowClan when she was younger to live an exciting life with a travelling rogue, but returned, tail between her legs, when said rogue refused to take care of their kits. Mountainfrost always had a weird obsession with his father and went on a journey to go find him after he became a warrior. But that’s mostly irrelevant.

Growing up in SnowClan was great for Mountainfrost. He is super naturally charismatic and made friends really easily, and he was pretty talented in training too. His best friend was Bluepaw. They had been friends since kithood, and Mountainfrost was apprenticed to her father, Darkheart (the current deputy). There was a bit of strain put on their relationship when Bluepaw felt like Mountainpaw was replacing her in her father’s eyes, but their friendship lasted through it.

Mountainfrost and Bluefire are super close now and probably the most influential cats in SnowClan, with Mountainfrost having a good reputation outside of the clan as well. He’s good friends with other popular cats such as Sorrelheart and Swiftpool (both well-liked deputies).

Anyway he’s fun loving and easy-going for the most part, though he has learned to be more responsible and take things a little more seriously over time (probably due to Bluefire’s influence).

New design for my boy! The second pic is his old design & I figured it was time for an upgrade. I’m not,, super thrilled with the new design but its better than the other one at least ;w; Odds are I’ll end up redesigning him again some time soon

Leader and deputy of SnowClan! Darkstar (he/him) totally didn't choose Mountainfrost as his deputy just because Mountainfrost was his apprentice and surrogate son haha what are you talking about how dare you accuse him of that. (He's a good guy though okay, he's just a bit biased)

Here he is! Best boy! Mountainfrost! (he/him) He who is quite possibly my oldest oc, and who I'm the most attached to (regardless of whether he's actually my favourite). Unfortunately, despite how much I love him, he probably won't get that big a part in the story :(
