mountainshape replied to your post: well solid state drives ALSO don't get damaged by moving them because they have no moving parts. they're also more expensive though obviously in either case getting an internal one is a great idea

it’s not a good idea to have an internal drive with all your stuff on it

i mean i would have frequent backups still

like i did when i used the usb-powered drives which is why ive never lost all my music before
