I've had a mouse infestation for a while now and cannot afford to fork out money for the pros so I bought these traps and I've caught 3 mice in about 5 mins with the same trap and a dab of pb. they are so easy to use and aren't as gorey as the cheaper wood varieties.

Story time:

So it's around 4 am, I have the worst headache of my life and a stomach pain that won't leave me be. Well friend I was expecting my room of comfort and hospitality to be safe from all intruders.

A mother fucker starts rustling and at I shrug it off as a bag falling. No this fucker was a MOUSE. In my room I always keep locked. I was thinking " how the fuck did micky mouse pull into my hood? Where is my wooden field stick I need to squish a bitch before minny comes to the party" and then I remembered that my stick was right where the mouse was just chilling.

Debunking some myths

Hello, welcome to my blog! I'm Vinny, and I decided to share some truths about an easily forgotten gem of a Sims game from my childhood that I keep going back to fondly: The Sims 2 DS. (if you don't know about it I suggest you check my "About The Game" page ;))

Now, I'm writing this late at night, and I don't have the strength (or the save for that matter) to discuss much about the story and the most common bugs and problems players run into, so instead, I'll debunk a few common myths I've come across on my quest to find some help on this game.

Myth number one: "You can get married in this game????" No, you can't, you never could, you never will. You can romance sims of the opposite gender if they feel romantic, but that's the only thing that approaches marriage that you can do. Sorry guys. You can write fanfictions though!

Myth number two:

"Mouse infestations totally get fixed when you call the maid~" NO. If a client asks you to fix a rodent infestation. N.E.V.E.R. call the maid, your task will never show up as finished. Instead, to actually succeed in finishing this goal, you need to vaccum dust piles yourself and pick out the mice one by one. In my personal experience, you will only have to do this for a few rooms before getting the reward, just be patient, it's worth the simoleons.

Myth number three:

"There are more than two unlockable outfits."

Nope! There aren't. For ladies, the unlockable outfits are Mamma Hogg's and Ava Cadavra's, and for gents, they're Tank Grunt's and Jebediah S. Jerky's. I'm not quite sure yet how to unlock them. I heard that you're supposed to be best friends with the characters to unlock them, but I unlocked Jeb's without being best friend with him, so I'll have to do further research on that.

Myth number four:

"The quality of your painting has to do with how much time you spend making it and how much you erase stuff!"

Nope, sorry, the rating for your paintings are entirely random, though it has been speculated but not proven that the higher your Creative skill the higher chances you have of getting Masterpieces and Magnum Opus's. In my personal experience though, all that skill does is make your paintings worth more valuable monetarily.

The Last 8 Months Have Been a Series of Overlapping Crises.

And I Am Over It.

Health issues (mine and my partner's).

My childhood horse being put down.

My partner lost a family member and recently another family member had a fall and hurt themselves.

Issues with my attempts at amateur taxidermy on the bones of said childhood horse, never ending adventure there.

Getting a second cat only to find out soon after that second cat had ringworm and fleas which they also gave to our original cat and we have had to quarantine them in part of the house while they heal and we cleaned the rest of the house to try to rid it of any ringworm spores and fleas/larvae/eggs.

And this morning I gave my partner a heart attack shortly before 7 am, why would I do such a thing? Because I spotted a FUCKING MOUSE in the kitchen and it dived under the heating element and through the hole in the drop pan to the space between the stove top and the oven - and my reaction was to SCREAM LIKE I WAS BEING MURDERED. Because apparently I am a trope of womanhood.

I am trying to understand if this is just a string of bad luck, or if the universe is trying to tell me something. Because I honestly kind of want to pack everything up and burn this house to the ground and go restart life somewhere new.

sorry for the disgusting post lol this is the only photo of mice shit in our trailer i have because we didnt take many photos to begin with and were always so grossed out that we deleted any we did take. so i deleted these but figured i’d post them before they were gone forever haha. 

all the little black spots are their shit and any discoloured looking wood is from them peeing on it. This was from under the couch, it was way worse but this was after throwing out everything that was under there which was also covered. basically everywhere inside looked like this and im not looking forward to cleaning it in a month hopefully shawn does most of it
