so the 3ds we recently got had, for a reason, been set to year 2005. now playing ts2 on it got a little annoying because the weekdays were off, SO i decided to set the console into 2003 so that the weekdays would match (it was a bit weird having guests tell me on tuesday that they will "stay 3 days until sunday"), and looooo and beholddddd i am met with the craziest fucking scene resulting in three groups of aliens, dust EVERYWHERE and now my guests wanted to stay for 700+ days since i went two years back in time. i was really bad at fighting the aliens (i've figured it out now), resulting my character to walk painfully slow all the time (stop probing my poor woman ffs).

i was going to just evict the current two-year tenants buuuuut in the end i decided to just restart the game. it was only a few days/hours of gameplay anyway. this way i could also make my sim male since apparently only straight romance is allowed in the game............ eyeroll
