the utter chaos of 6 mice in one carrier before cage clean
an older pic of the twinsies. they actually rarely come out at the same time so I dont get a lot of pictures of them together like this
Olive and Licorice were only 14 grams ish when I got them. They were like little ants. Here they are in their quarantine bin.
My poor cruelly jailed babies. (They were put in the carrier for a bit because this was full cage clean day. Not long after this, they got to have the most fun ever in their playpen.)
Little Licorice the Littlest Babiest Mouse Ever. She is so very small compared to the others and yet full of so much little zest for life. Like Olive, she is kind of an angel when it comes to handling. Unlike Olive, she also has things to do and places to be.
When my family visits, I like to hand them a mouse to hold for a bit because holding a mouse inspires joy and whimsy. Last time my mom was here, I handed her Licorice who was very determined to dig a hole in my mom's hand to go between her fingers. She just sat there diggydiggydigging on the hand, then washing her face, then digging more, unbothered.
Possibly she is the cutest little thing on the planet.
