My entire family is talking mad smack about Alabama basketball since they beat UNC on Thursday night (GO HEELS!), and Grant Nelson's godawful lip ferret is coming in for it's fair share of entirely justified abuse. Today I raised the point that maybe he's trying to emulate Rosie Rosenthal and FAILING MISERABLY. Consensus in the Awry House is that if he can't do any better than that, he needs to shave it immediately. All of this is a long-winded and roundabout request for anything with Colonel Rosenthal's magnificent facial hair. :)

"I don't get it," Robert says. He's sitting on their couch, Ken in his lap, running his thumbs over Robert's moustache again and again. "What's so intriguing about my moustache? You spent the war surrounded by men with moustaches?"

"You wear it best," Ken says, then leans in and kisses Robert in the little bare spot at his cupid's bow. "Lot of the boys looked just fine, but the first time I saw you, you were wearing yours different, and I liked that about you."

Robert laughs and tips his chin up to kiss Ken's thumbs. "I'll take it," he says. "But if you ever don't like it, I'll shave it right now."

Ken grins and steals a kiss. "No time soon," he says. "So don't worry."
