Hey, I hope you're well ! I was wondering if you could advise me on any good books for begginers? My mother's always been interested in witchcraft but has never really looked into it properly so I was thinking of getting her a book on the subject. I've heard of the Complete Book Of Witchcraft bu Buckland, do you know if it's good? And do you have recommendations? Thanks !

I haven't read that particular book myself! I would recommend taking a look at these posts here. as they could probably give you better choices then I (though I am dying to get my own copy of Mrs. B's Guide to Household Witchery). They're compiled lists from a few of my favorite witchy blogs. Most of those books should be available for cheap on Amazon too!

well someone has to die so ... no but i think i'll find someone else, i want her to be part of the plot !

i think the genre is urban fantasy, set nowadays in a school for teens with one parent human and one parent fae, hence good and bad use of powers, teen drama and a ritual to resurrect an ancient evil force !

my story was too complicated so i'm working on the genre clichés now to make it simple and then later, edit it back to add the complicated parts !

Haha well, same goes for characters, you got your nerds and your rebels and your jocks. Also bitches, you gotta have a bitch. Not the biggest fan of love triangles myself, but it can be really cool. Good luck anyway, brave of you to write novel !

The list is pretty much endless but I’d say, a huuuge focus on raging hormones? Also angst. And parent drama. AND BLOODY LOVE TRIANGLES.

oh shit i realize i phrased it wrong, i'm looking for the different types of characters you can find as teenage students ... buuut it's actually very helpful because i had love triangle in my notes but not parent drama which is perfect so thanks !
