It had grown into a daily occurrence that Bucky stopped by almost every night, ate their leftovers and played a little with Winnie before her bedtime routine. It was the routine Jenna had wished Steve was still around for but Bucky was just as, if not almost certainly as important than Steve for her little girl. He was showing her that family stability she needed.

Jenna walked into the hallway, a basket of laundry in her arms as she was about to go down to the machine in the basement when she spotted that pair exchanging a donut, raising a brow she put the basket down. As if she was going to get that done tonight with a sugared up kid. Deciding now was the time, Jenna grabbed the jacket she’d brought him last time she’d managed to have a decent shop trip, the tags pulled off of course but the receipt still floated in her bag incase he changed his mind and didn’t want it anymore.

“I know but you’ve been so good to use and you need a new one, Sam told me you ripped the arm off the last one.” She commented, watching as Winnie took a small bite from the donut as her eyes glued to the TV.
