hnngghhh i still have monster prom feelings and i had feelings about the player character platonic relationships (romantic if you want to take it that way). Might just do these in little groups cause there’s way too many to fit into one post.

Oz and Brian (Yellow and Green):
You wouldn’t think these guys would hang out but they’re like... pretty chill with each other. Brian thinks Oz tries a bit hard with school, but its endearing in its own way.
They don’t communicate much with words seeing as they’re both pretty quiet people. But Brian’s mastered the art of reading expressions and has a pretty damn good idea about how Oz is feeling like... 8/10 times.
Brian has definitely had some trouble with Oz’s pronouns. He’s called them ‘he’ multiple times before and he always doubles back to correct himself. Oz appreciates it, cause they can tell Brian’s trying.
You’d think Oz would look up to Brian, but nah it’s definitely the other way around. Brian may be the chill homie everymonster wants to hang with, but Oz is really something special. They might be a bit of a shy, awkward nerd blob, but Brian’s seen them in action and he’s impressed.
Speaking of, if anyone tries to leave even a scuff mark on precious shadow baby’s face Brian will pummel them. Hard. His arms might detach but he doesn’t care.
Not to say Oz can’t protect themself. Brian’s witnessed exactly how terrifying they can be the one time some idiot thought it’d be funny to take his hand (not that it’s hard). Let’s just say, you don’t fuck with Brian if you don’t want your skeleton (or whatever passes for it) being rearranged.
Oz has definitely fallen asleep on Brian before. Vicky has a photo of it because she’s a little shit (but lowkey found it super adorable and wanted to save the moment).
Oz and Amira (Yellow and Red):
Amira thinks Oz is just the cutest little shadow blob in the world and wants to squish their cheeks like... all the time. Like “sure, you’re actually pretty strong and terrfying, but omg you are just the most precious!” Oz is too quiet/shy to say anything about it, but they don’t actually mind.
Speaking of, she definitely calls him “Our Little Blob” in an entirely endearing and sweet way. It’s caught on with Vicky and sometimes it gets shortened to “blobby”. Oz thinks they’re crazy, but doesn’t protest.
Amira is all for Oz actually going to classes surprisingly. She may be a party girl and just wanna have fun, but she thinks their attitude towards studies is pretty admirable and is totally into it.
On the flipside, Oz thinks Amira is the coolest ever. Good at sports. Charismatic. And all around just. the. best. The two of them were very fast friends and Oz appreciates all of the time they’ve spent with her.
While Oz expresses the same intense protectiveness of her as they do of Brian, Amira isn’t all that physical when it comes to confrontation. If someone talks down to Oz, she’ll give ‘em a good tongue lashing and sic Polly on them later while dragging Oz away and reassuring them that they’re the most valid and wonderful eldritch abomination ever.
Oz and Amira are definitely hug buddies. There’s no boundaries in this friendship and Amira’s made that clear from day one. Oz is always a little nervous about being too touchy (he’s a shy bean), but it’s surprisingly easy to relax around her. Plus she probably gives the best hugs and she’s really warm so like... double win!
