It was more coincidence than anything else that had caused Adaline to find herself talking to the Greek god of... Well, she wasn’t exactly sure what Hermes was the god of, she just knew him as the messenger of the gods and also part of the Greek family, which was more than enough information for her to want to get to know him better. After all; learning about her heritage was definitely interesting, and learning about it from the gods themselves? A one in a million lifetime opportunity.
She’d convinced Hermes to spare her some time by offering to buy him a meal - even gods had to eat, right? - and so that is where they are now, sitting in some or the other great restaurant that she’d let him pick since she isn’t familiar with the places in Mount Phoenix yet, with their drinks in front of them and the appetizer probably arriving soon.
“So,” she says with great seriousness, but the way her eyes start to shine and her lips pull up into a smile full of mischief indicate that that clearly isn’t going to last long. “First things first; I’ve seen statues of you. Is it true that you had...” She lifts a hand to show her thumb and index finger not all too far apart. “You know, such a tiny pecker?”
