Unpopular opinion??.

I wish that Riggs continued to write Jacob dealing with ASD/PTSD. He only wrote Jacob having mental health problems in the first book of mphfpc, And after the 1st book Riggs probably forgotten that he made Jacob neurodivergent by making him have ASD. That definitely turned to ptsd during the events of the book series.

This can also make miss. Peregrine and the peculiars learn about the modern world, and on how mental health is being handled. Sure it’s 2011 and mental health isn’t treated the best, but it’s better than the 19th century.

This maybe a bit angsty, but In AMOD and TCOTB ( I haven’t read TDODA ). When H and V are introduced in.IF the peculiars meet them, they could understand that it can be common for hollow-hunters to develop ptsd, or other mental health issues

This could make the peculiars try to an eye on Jacob so he doesn’t run away, but also to try snd convince him to live in a loop PERMANENTLY, so he doesn’t continue the cycle of growing up old and paranoid. Living in a house , apartment , trailler that’s filled with weapons To just end up dying because of the wights/claywings
