習います| Nayeon + Amaterasu

Nayeon was a little nervous about meeting Amaterasu for coffee. She knew the other wanted to know about her, the daughter of Izanami, but she was desperate to know anything of her mother. She worried that the Goddess would see right through her and see all the bad things she’d done and think that her mother would be disappointed in her. She just didn’t want to be a disappointment for the rest of her life. She knew that the Japanese looked more favourably on same-sex relations than the Koreans, so she guessed her mother wouldn’t mind that she was gay. But she still knew nothing about her mother, just that she’d left her with her father. 

She walked into the Flower Mill and smiled seeing Amaterasu already seated with a drink, Nayeon was quick to order and sit down across from the woman. She greeted Amaterasu in Japanese and smiled, “Would you rather we did this in Japanese or Korean?” She was bilingual so really it was whatever suited the Goddess best.

A Study of Tears || Seokjin & Nayeon

Seokjin rushed up to the university’s library doors as if he was ten minutes late to a first date.

In reality, he was ten minutes early to a study session, but he 1) still had to set everything up, and 2) was excited as fuck.

(Shh, brain, no cursing.)

Once inside, he quickly flashed his student ID at the scanner, before walking through the opened barrier, scrunching his glasses up his nose.

Outside, he was a mask of calm (but brisk walking); inside, he was not, jumping like a little kid who just got a gigantic cone of ice cream.

When he got to a table, he dumped his bookbag in a chair and plopped down next to it, quickly unzipping it to get his books and pencils, and slid his laptop cover - with his laptop inside, thank you very much, because he did not forget it this time - in front of him.

His screen was just warmed up when he saw Nayeon, waving small but excitedly.

They've done this before, so she isn't worried about Nayeon finding her way. She knows Morrigan's favorite spot in MINX, the booth where she conducted most of her business. Of course they would move to a more accommodating location if the need arose, but for the moment she was enjoying looking over her metaphorical kingdom, heels up on the table and a glass of whiskey held loosely in her hand as she waited.

She was curious of what the pretty little demi-god was wanting to talk about. On the phone she had sounded not necessarily urgent, but very stead fast in her request that they meet.

Before, Nayeon had shown tremendous effort and potential when they worked together on her training, though she still had only a loose grip on her powers. Morrigan may be a deity of death and rebirth, but she dealt with only the earthly aspect of it. The underworld was not her domain. Therefore she could not offer extensive help when it came to the girl's exact powers, but knowledge of magic and the occult she could offer in spades, and had been very open with.

If more training was what Nayeon was after then Morrigan would happily oblige, always pleased with an eager student.
