“ don’t leave ”

Kibum squinted as the numbers on the clock blurred around each other. 2 am. He’d been there all day and well into the night, not doing anything in particular, just spending time with his older sister. “But it’s so late already,” he said with a frown as he gestured to the clock. Still, he made no moves to get up from where he was curled next to his sister comfortably, his eyes closed as the movie continued to play.

A few moments of comfortable silence stretched on before he spoke up again, his voice quiet, sleep laced through it. “But I can stay a little longer.”

“Cut off a wolf’s head and it still has the power to bite.”

Kibum crossed his arms grumpily as he leaned against the wall, watching the girl with a frown on his face. At a place like Minx, most customers were polite and regarded the dancers as if they were human beings, and then there were nights like tonight, when someone would get overzealous. It made him worry, that both his mother and his sister were working in a place like this, even though he was aware that they both were more than capable of taking care of themselves.

Regarding the blonde for a moment, his expression soon softened and he shook his head once. “I understand what you’re saying, Choa. I know that you can fight your own battles but I worry,” he said as he walked over to where she sat, quickly ruffling her hair. “I still think that I should be allowed to dismember the guy though.”
