not a tv show, but she didn’t watch much tv growing up with four siblings. she liked to hole up in her little pink bedroom and watch disney movies all day. she adores cinderella a lot

-surprisingly, alaska is a whiny melting mess in the sun, whereas sharon will burn to a crisp but she absolutely loves summer-alaska goes on tour a lot with the aaa girls meaning sharons at home alone, so they have frequent skype calls -tagging onto that, sharon likes to troll alaska’s twitter because she’s famous and her fans find it funny to see alaska being read -i.e “devastated the aaa girls didn’t win last night - threw my slipper and broke the tv. we need a new one now. wait, can we afford one since u didn’t win?” or “i have so much sympathy for people who get up at 11am, have someone else dress them and do their makeup, and then sing and dance for a while. you break my heart”-they’re super mushy though and sharon records every interview that alaska ever does and saves it-alaska is the little spoon but when she comes home from a long tour she sometimes slips into bed when sharons asleep and spoons her -alaskas breakfasts are amazing despite her inability to cook any other meal and sharon loves her for it -they’re that couple who pass every milestone before their friends have even got to the station

am still doing this!! i picked mq (surprise surprise) and, bc authenticity 99% of mq things cannot be done alone i recruited nymph and asked her what she thought would happen - we chat and plan a lot. aka this is canon (kinda sorta - it happens like this but the scene may be rewritten later w nymph to focus on the actual mq plot)

to set the scene: both girls are ten years old

First Cuddle

Violet couldn’t pull the image out of her head, no matter how hard she tried to focus. She was okay now, they were okay. That peeling, misused wreck of a house would soon be a distant memory for both of them, and they’d be okay.

Granted, it wasn’t a shitty house; just a cheaper-than-average, not particularly well looked after one in the rougher area of the suburbs. The outer walls were grey - not white like Alyssa’s - and the grass hadn’t been cut in months. In hindsight, Violet wished she’d gone with the funny feeling in her gut and tugged Sharon out of there before they’d had to see inside.

Inside they’d been greeted by a tired-looking woman, who had Sharon’s blue eyes and hard lines set into her face, as well as a musty smell. Well, greeted was perhaps the wrong word. The smell wrapped itself around them instantly, and the woman simply glanced at them from the living room before returning to the crackling TV set.

Then they’d seen Sharon’s pitiful bedroom, and noticed how Sharon’s mom made no attempt to even acknowledge her daughter, and soon enough Alyssa was hissing for Violet to help Sharon grab as many clothes and belongings as they could carry and that they were going to leave.

“I think she’s gonna let you stay the weekend!” Violet had whispered excitedly.

Sharon had only smiled sadly in response.

Now they were curled up in Violet’s large bed, buried under the duvet and several blankets, clinging onto one another. She’d noticed that her best friend was rigid, but not from the cold, and it had just been instinctive to cuddle up to her until she relaxed. Sharon had long since relaxed, but that wasn’t going to stop either girl from cuddling.

“Goodnight, Vi, baby.” Alyssa murmured, quiet as she only ever was when the girls were going to sleep.

She leaned down to press a kiss to Violet’s forehead.

“And goodnight to you too, Sharon. Remember that you always have a family here.”

She pressed a kiss to Sharon’s forehead too - a gesture of affection the young girl had never recieved.

After that, she tiptoed out, leaving the girls to sleep in each other’s arms, both feeling safer and happier than they had before.

alaska, 101%. she likes to spend a long time washing her hair and shaving and moisturizing and using all her pretty creams and body oils, whereas sharon only takes a long time if she’s in there with alaska for obvious reasonshow do they make up after a fight?

i’m not sure i can tell u bc spoilers LMFAO but in small fights it usually ends with a quiet but sincere apology from whoever was wrong and a lot of hugs and spontaneous ‘i love you’s. also, depending on who it was, the gift of new eyeshadow palettes or the gift of expensive dark lipsticks

surprisingly, sharon actually loves the sun, despite needing a million layers of suncream to prevent third degree burns. alaska prefers the rain because she’s weak for romantic moments from films where they kiss in the rain, and also because the heat turns her into an angry sweaty mess of human

what’s their favorite place to go together?

they don’t really have a favourite place but somewhere special to them is a cinema just a little way out of where they live, because it’s where they used to go when they first started dating just to get used to being affectionate without anyone seeing them. they both hold onto memories of holding hands and kissing ((((and some nsfw activity smh))))) whilst there’s a film on

after dinner, they’re usually hanging out in violet’s room chatting amongst the three of them and sometimes drinking a little (or a lot). when one of them gets tired, they’ll go into the bathroom together and help each other take off their makeup (even though sharon is notorious for sleeping in makeup because she’s lazy) and then they’ll get undressed and head to either their bedroom or violet’s room. alaska will always curl into sharon to get comfortable and is usually the last one asleep

who’s more likely to burn dinner?

alaska. full stop end of story. don’t let her near an oven. or a microwave. or anything. she’ll burn dinner, herself, and the house down (boots)
