"Within a few minutes John Lennon walked up to me as I stood politely in the doorway of the garage. I looked at him in his green linen suit with tiny mirrors embroidered in an Indian fashion. I turned around to show him his portrait, which I had embroidered on my jacket, with two tiny sequins for his eyes. I said, "You can’t do this, can you?" He replied, "What?" I said, "Meet John Lennon." He shrugged and said, "No, I suppose not. Come on in the house – just having breakfast.'"
