Deep in the Library, on a search for a book oninterdimensional portals in the era of the Revolutionary War (a search that israpidly becoming a Quest proper; you’ve been sleeping in the stacks for fournights now) you turn the corner and bump into probably the worst thing you’veever seen. It stands at about sixteen feet tall, every single one of its twodozen legs is basically just a spear, its body is a formless mass of furstilted far above you, and there’s a nondescript white mask possibly denotingwhere a face would be. But you were raised polite, and you have learned politeness, and so you make theacquaintance of one self-christened Mr. Crispy. He’s actually very helpful.

“What is it with human children and fake people?”

“Oh, don’t pretend you never had any. No, it’s kind of cute. …Although the backstory she made up is a little scary.”

“Oh?”

“Well, Dan took her to this hospital visiting thing his church was doing, and it was some time after that that she started talking about him. But it was really kind of sad. See, she explained that he had burns all over, and it was because of his Dad and his brothers. But I think he’s a kind of ‘knight in shining armor’ character, even with his family being asshats.”

“……….I see. ……..What does she call this imaginary friend?”

“Mr. Crispy.”

Prompt: Lucifer finally gets his beloved Mr. Crispy face back. But he can't now hide it. He is stuck with devil's face on and it seriously affects his life. No going out, no work, no Chloe. Only Linda, Maze and Amrnadiel are there to help but they can't do anything. After several days (week) of forced imprisonment in his penthouse Lucifer starts to fall apart.

Oh boy! This premise is super intriguing! Do his friends in the know introduce Chloe to stop him from losing it??
