You will never hear me call it the "Middle East". That's based off of a Euro-centric map. What you *should* call it, and what we will call it in this classroom, is Southeast Asia.

My Social Studies teacher
My history teacher has such unbridled, primitive rage for the white Europeans who destroyed, murdered and stole from indigenous people and if you read my post again you can see why
yall i need my social studies teacher to share with me the slides about how mostly all maps are upside down because it’s fuckin mind blowing
(just so you know, one of the effects upside-down maps have is making third-world countries look inferior by putting them on the bottom of the map)
mr. etscovitz, my history teacher: and what would white people have said, thousands of years ago, if i'd asked them why they conqured indigiounous people?
classmate: because they were "better", "smarter" and had "better religion"
mr. etscovitz: and what do i think of that?
mr. etscovitz: *moves to slide with poop emoji on it*
mr. etscovitz, because he is not allowed to swear: chocolate pudding with eyes.
