Coming up with delay
Dear visitors of our blog! In our upcoming entry, we will introduce you to Hedgehog and Mr. Spoons. But since Mr. Spoons insisted he would be appearing without glasses, to boost his charisma (bigger eyes), I am looking for tiny contact lenses, and I tell you they are not easy to find! Mr. Spoons, being a rat himself, insisted furthermore that the provided contacts be without animal testing. So please be patient!
How's the new rig working for you? Is it much easier on your wrists and hands?
I think it is! It's so WONDERFUL not having to draw completely flat on my desk. I don't know how other people do it but I can't draw with my tablet propped up against my lap or something.
It's soooo nice to have it completely sturdy ANYWHERE I WANT IT in my lap against the desk, out of the way, just wow. It's slanted now too so it helps prop my arm up so it doesn't hurt nearly so bad and I can doodle for a lot longer than I could before since my back doesn't hurt nearly so bad.
It's going to take some more practice with it to find out exactly what is the most comfortable way to draw with it and using hot key junk - and getting manga studio set up with all my missing brushes. Man I can't wrap my head around that. ;;
But I am really looking forward to this and it's going really great so far!!
Hey, AJ! Super congrats on the Cintiq! I hope it's everything you dreamed it would be! Also, if you don't mind my asking, which arm did you end up going with? It looks like the one you have in the pictures was drilled in, rather than clamped like a lot that I've seen. Cheers~
I THINK IT IS SO FAR!
I did end up getting this Arm Mount - it's not strong enough to hold up my cintiq in the air completely - but it's PERFECT for exactly what I want it to do and move it around. C:
We did try it clamped on, it was okay but it didn't come all the way out past my desk and keyboard the way I wanted it too. So we used the 2nd option of just drilling the place into the desk. It's extremely study and holding together really well. The whole desk shakes before that mount moves. lol
my cintiq's name is Mr. Spoons.
