We went to Mr Vanillas Moms for Christmas.
Mr Vanilla got $100 EB gift card, $500 check towards his student loans, $150 cash, Skyrim for the switch, Mass Effect trilogy for the PS3, Shadow of the Colossus for PS4, a 16 piece set of small screwdrivers, a hex key set, and a 36 piece bit set.
I got a $100 Indigo gift card and a $200 gift card that is specifically to cover our room at his Moms wedding.

We're hoping to go camping this year but have never gone together. so we went looking at campgrounds kinda close to home yesterday. We drove an hour to this one lake and then walked to the campground... it ended up being an hour walk to get there... and I loved it!!!! and I am SO DAM SORE now though. You can really tell when you're not hitting your daily goals for a while... to go from maybe 2,000 steps a day for almost a month to just about 8,000 in a day was a bad idea but I want to keep it going. Now I just gotta figure out how to kick my butt into gear and actually do it.
Everyone is sick. Mr V was upchucking last night. A has been sick the last 3 mornings. D got sick this morning. And everyone is coughing. Me? I've got rashes that make it hard to lift my arms and I've been upchucking for a few hours. Good news, I'm the only one with fever. Bad news, I'm the one who has to take care of everyone else still.
So I had a bit of a paranoia moment and texted Aus cuz I was freaking out. He said he'd come over if I wanted but first he wanted me to do something. See, I was freaking out cuz it looked like there was someone on my deck but the light tricks me a lot so I was paranoid about someone on my deck but ALSO paranoid about making it up and it being in my head. And he literally was like, just watch it and flip the lights. Like??? I didn't think of that?? I hit the wrong switch all the time?? So I can turn the outside on and be like oops I meant to turn the other one??? And yea it was just a box sitting funny cuz of the wind. So yea.... that's my positive. Aus is amazing again. Also, stfu I'm bad with consistency and I know that already
So me n Aus aka Mr Vanilla are officially fb official. Counting that as positive.
Positive experience today. I took a bath. He called me. I felt safe. He saved me from the dark without trying, he sat back and asked what I needed and provided. That's all. And it was perfect. He may not be into CG/l but he is a CG still. He has the instinct. I think that's the biggest thing that's going to carry us through.
