intermittent fasting (16 hours of not eating and a few normal meals in the remaining 8 hours)
when breaking a fast eat either protein+carbs or protein+fat. try to avoid fat+carbs combo when breaking a fast
swap all normal sweets and treats for grain bars grain cookies organic millet snacks etc (despite the same amount of calories they dont make you gain so much cause of all the fiber. fiber is love fiber is life)
weight lifting and overall strength exercises (bulking up is usually hard af. not only will you look lean and toned but muscle burns a lot of calories so you will burn even on your rest days)
dont be scared of fats. they might be high cal but weight loss/gain isnt just physics and calories in calories out - its biology. hormones babey! high carb low fat diet makes your insulin and leptin go haywire. fats are less dangerous and your cells need them to regenerate!
its better to fast once in a while than to restrict. you will lose more fat and you will keep your muscle. restricting may make you lose muscle and muscle is your friend when it comes to burning fat!
72 hours fast is absolute maximum. after that you may start burning muscle
exercising while fasting turns you into a fat burning machine. dont push yourself too hard though! be reasonable and know your limits

School Life after losing 20+ lbs
After walking up the stairs I am no longer red and sweaty and gross or out of breath
I can sit next to people without worrying that my breathing is too loud or that I am taking up too much space
I feel less ashamed when buying food at the cafeteria
I have less thoughts that people are judging me for being so fat
Doing PE is more fun and easier
I just in general feel less annoying
I can walk around the classroom without feeling as embarrassed as I used to
I feel more confident in my clothes
I can sit on the floor without worrying as much about my stomach and legs
Having people accidentally touch me isnāt as bad now
When other people are talking about weight loss I can give them (HEALTHY) advice without feeling ridiculous
I donāt randomly get really hot and sweat a lot less which means Iāve basically got rid of a whole insecurity
This list is lowkey sad but I need to remind myself what Iāve achieved and what else I could accomplish with losing even more weight!
I donāt want to encourage eating disorders, so please if you want to lose weight donāt do what I did and eat in a healthy and sustainable way! Stay safe everyone.
