I totally agree with you on this, winter is my favourite time of year because of it :) You should try to see these...

maybe one day I will get to see them...

But only if its certain I'll get to a warm place right after xd Winter does create strikingly beautiful views, but cold is hard to stand, for me at least.

Otherwise, the northern lights are another thing I wish I could see in this life

Ohh ive seen these, they call them Snow Ghosts in Canada. very hauntingly beautiful :D

'Haunting' was the first thought I had when I saw that photoset. Winter is beautiful, but in a very strange way; snow in the mountains and forests creates almost alien sort of landscape.
