At Mad Science
Hackington, judging: A love potion, uh? I expected more from you, Cauldronello... though with that partner, I guess we'll see each other next scaremester
Spell, stopping the teacher's hand from writing anything down: I'd prefer if you actually take the time to grade us appropriately, unless you want us to go ask Ms. Bloodgood first
Val, kind of anxious: Spell! No need to–
Hackington, with lowkey an evil smile: Alright, kid. Show me wrong
Spell gets self-conscious and struggles to start talking. Before de teacher could act, Val interludes: This is an elixir that indulges sweet dreams in whoever drinks it, I- We actually tried it, and can assure you it works perfectly! Sorry for the confusion. That's the only bottle I had free to pour it... and well–
Seeing how Val started to decrease in confidence, Spell talked up, describing all the processes it took to make the elixir, how they were able to merge science and magic into one, and how the components worked with each other. The only struggle they had was to explain the effects it had on the subject. The boys looked at each other, heavily blushing, and started to babble about it.
Hackington, sick of them just gave them an A+ (extremely rare for him) and moved on while mumbling: Kids these days...
