☠           Jean wandered aimlessly through a few buildings, not caring much  for paying attention to the walls. Roaming on and on and on, he continued until he found a comfortable, small house.

☠           Turning to go upstairs, no foot steps could be heard despite the creaky nature of the steps. Jean glanced down at the barren living room one more time, just a couch and a chair, before heading the rest of the way up. Quickly, he found an open bathroom door, slamming it closed once he thought on it. After a a second, he slammed it again, not missing a beat before noticing an open guest room and shattering a lamp.

☠          Jean took a long, last drag of his cigarette before smothering it into the last ash tray he’d see in a while. He didn’t dare go inside the gas station to buy more, just because he looked human didn’t mean he wanted to. Giving a short glance up at the street signs, he headed off in a seemingly random direction, choosing to phase through people instead of moving.

☠          Turning last second to the small park that would eventually turn into deep woods, the specter took the liberty of jump-scaring a few children. He waited until sundown to head into the woods, following a group of teenagers in to eventually spook them.
