Miami, February 23, 2012 - The 26th edition of Austin, TX. South By South West, one of the world’s most prestigious and influential music conferences, has selected Mr. Pauer as one of it’s performing artists. SXSW is renown for it’s ability to catapult emerging artists into the public eye. This year’s line-up includes Sean Kuti, Mala Rodriguez, Fiona Apple, Bomba Estereo, and Quantic. In regards to the upcoming festival Mr Pauer says: "I'm very honored to be part of this year's SXSW line-up. I've been to this conference in previous years and I know the energy that Austin has during those days. This is pretty big and I'm more than ready to rock and represent Miami/Venezuela" Alongside 2 separate SXSW slots, the 2011 launch of his debut album, "Soundtrack", has gained Mr. Pauer other important stops on his tours. Performances in NYC’s CMJ Music Marathon, Cananda’s Pop Montreal, and Central Park’s Summer Stage rank among some of the most memorable. Soundtrack has also gained Mr. Pauer recognition with a nomination from The Latin Recording Academy for “Best Alternative Album” and 3 recent nominations for the Pepsi Musica Awards in Venezuela for "Best Electronic Song", "Best Electronic Video", and "Best Electronic Album". Miami, 23 de Febrero, 2012 La 26ta edición del festival “South by South West” de la ciudad de Austin,TX., uno de las conferencias mas importantes e influyentes a nivel mundial, ha seleccionado a Mr. Pauer como uno de los artistas participando este año. SXSW es reconocido por su habilidad de catapultar artistas emergentes a nivel masivo. Entre la cartelera de artistas presentandose este año estan Seun Kuti, Fionna Apple, Mala Rodriguez, Bomba Estereo y Quantic.

“Me siento honrrado de ser parte de la cartelera oficial de este año de SXSW. Ya he estado en esta conferencia en años anteriores y conozco la energia que tiene Austin durante esos días. Esto es muy importante para mi y estoy mas que listo para llevar mi musica representando a Miami/Venezuela”, comenta Mr. Pauer.

Además de sus dos presentaciones en SXSW, el lanzamiento de su disco debut “Soundtrack” en el 2011 le abrió las puertas para hacer otras importantes paradas en su tour como CMJ Music Marathon en NYC, Pop Montreal en Canadá y Summer Stage en Central Park. “Soundtrack” también obtuvo reconocimiento de la Academia de la Música Latina nominandolo a “Mejor Album Alternativo” y recientemente una triple nominación a los Premios Pepsi Music en Venezuela como “Mejor Album Electronico", "Mejor Canción Electronica" y "Mejor Video Electrónico”.
