Remember: It is not the same as present simple, but it can confuse some students, especially the ones who are starting to learn English.

-A thing about time, or maybe two.

How many times have we wondered about learning a language and leaving from that thought immediately because "it takes time"?

It's always a good time to learn. You don't really have to be able to speak a language to understand it. You can start by watching a film, soups, clips from that country to see how locals do.

Do you think that "time" equals "quality"? Er...no. Time provides more opportunities to do something while quality is gained through practice. You can take a 5-year-course, or just make no effort, open YouTube, type a country + history, and make use of subtitles. Or setting your phone to this language you are intrigued by. Or you can Google famous quotes in this language and play it out in front of a mirror. Have fun!
