Anyone with half a brain and an ounce of common sense would realize that TONY is indeed Cait's REAL husband. Especially now that he's been NAMED in 2 official documents: a marriage certificate and a death announcement.

So sad to hear about caitriona dad. Are you surprised Sam wouldn’t be there for her? They’re such good friends that I would think he’d want to go to the funeral. Wonder if the Wyoming pic is not recent.

Anon, Cait's father JUST died. Look at the time stamps on her brother's FB posts. 12 hours ago, he posted sad faces, and only 5 hours ago, he posted RIP.

I'm sure Sam doesn't even know yet. Although Sam and Cait are good friends, he's a pretty "newish" friend, and for all intents and purposes, is a "work" friend. He's not going to be on the top of her list of calls. Cait has a huge family, has MANY life long friends, and MANY long time friends. That's 3 tiers of sets of people she would be calling before she called or texted Sam or anyone from Outlander. Heck, maybe she doesn't want to call anyone and people will find out from others.

As for a funeral...again, this JUST happened. I'm sure they're barely thinking about plans. And we don't know if they will keep it very small or not.

So, yes, the pic of Sam in Wyoming is new, as per the fan who posted it. And we don't know who Cait will call or not, or who will go to the funeral. If Sam doesn't go, I don't think it means anything about the state of their friendship one way or the other...because we don't know the decisions Cait and her family are making.

I'm glad her dad got to meet her son at least. It's sad this happened so close to Cait and Tony's son's first birthday, though. 😞

Anyway, my eyes are killing me again, I gotta quit posting. Ugh.
