         Caitlin pulled her bottom lip between her teeth, glancing over at him. He had every right to ask these kind of questions, but the problem was that she had no idea what kind of answer he expected. What kind of answer he WANTED.

            She took a deep breath then, shaking her head. “Nobody knows.” She then found herself saying. “But you.”

               Being ALONE.

   It was something Caitlin knew all too well. She had managed to feel alone in a crowd of people before and she knew Barry well enough to be aware that he didn´t like to be alone. He was a people person and she understood that. He was the hero after all, he was the one who had the need to save all people. But who was there to save him?

S    he glanced at him, having just patched him up and had already turned away when he had spoken up. Caitlin felt a pain in her chest at his words and she stopped, taking a breath. “Barry, you need to rest.” She told him. “In a minute you´ll be fast a asleep, you won´t even notice I´m gone.”

“Barry!” she had a surprise for him, but of course she had no idea if he was actually in his lab or if he was at STAR labs. She should have checked STAR labs first, but her mind had been too hopped off on the four cups of coffee she’d already had this morning to really do much thinking.

Being greeted by not just Barry, but also a little bundle of fur being dropped into his arms, had Oliver arching a brow at the younger man.

“What’s this?” he asked, unsure if he should be suspicious or annoyed, even as the kitten nuzzled into his chest, purring like a motor boat.
